Executive Summary
The twinning project with the Macedonian regulatory authority ERC was implemented jointly by several Austrian institutions: E-Control partnered up with the Agency for European Integration and Economic Development (AEI), the Energy Exchange Austria (EXAA) and the Austrian standardisation agency TÜV.
The project started at the beginning of 2010 and lasted for 16 months, concluding at the end of April 2011. The EU budget provided was € 600,000.
Within this framework, the project addressed four topics:
- License compliance monitoring
- Market monitoring
- Quality management procedures
- Cooperation with stakeholders
